The Journey

I started this blog because I was in desperate need of soul nourishment. Before this blog I was not a seasoned baker. In fact, I struggled to even make the desserts from a pre-measured box. It was when I tried a recipe and used less flour and more butter that it started to come together. I always hated how my desserts came out dry so withholding 1-2 tablespoons of flour and adding a generous amount of butter did the trick. I figured you can't have enough butter... It has been fun to learn a new skill and share the treats with others. |

Because I am a die hard foodie
And I don't want you to forget it!
My brother was a huge reason why I started this blog. He has been my role model my whole life and I go to him for advice, a laugh, or a shoulder to cry on. By talking with him, he inspired me to start this blog. I want to share some of the food master pieces he has created over the past year. I am often treated on a Sunday afternoon with comfort food, a board game and a feel good movie.
