A Pretty little thing

Blueberry, almond, lemon cake!  Boy oh boy am I excited to taste this bad boy! But, if it wasn't for my roommate, it would not have happened. I really have a problem with reading the whole ingredients list for the recipe... This time I forgot the almond meal in the blueberry, ALMOND, lemon cake. But thankfully my roommate saved the day and brought some home! The "cake" that is currently in a bread pan, is baking away in the oven and the sweet aroma is filling my apartment. I am also watching Julie & Julia, in my typical manner, on the couch on a Sunday evening.

Back to the recipe. To what I can tell, this is pretty easy, pretty tasty, and just a pretty little thing. At the same time, it feels fancy because of the glaze that goes over top. Paired with some tea, this is the perfect combination to relax and unwind. Highly recommend you try it next time you get the chance!
