Chocolate Chip Cookies mean something different to everyone

I have been thinking a lot about chocolate chip cookies lately. Maybe it's the changing of seasons, maybe it's the gloomy weather, maybe it's the slow time at work, or maybe it's the fact I am moving in 2 weeks, but my mind is racing. And it is racing about choco chip cookies.

I realized they bring back different memories for everyone. My memory is of my dad's oatmeal choco chip cookies. He used to make HUGE batches and would store them in gallon sized zip top bags. They were delicious, but I am looking to bring a different recipe into my life. I really want buttery, googey, under cooked chocolate chip cookies.

This past weekend Quinn made her famous choco chip cookies. I do love them (but they have walnuts in them, and it just doesn't make me feel the same special kind of way). I am not kidding, I just want simple and buttery cookies. Maybe that's why this blog is called "more butter". 

So for now, I am on the hunt for a perfect recipe. I will just have to day dream about them until then...
